The International Conference on Ethnomedicine and Drug Discovery to be held in Maryland, USA, Nov. 3 through Nov. 5, 1999 will be a platform for evaluating the plants currently used as traditional remedies through the Clinical Outcome Based Ethnomedical Leads (COBEL).

Opening Ceremony

A Grand Opening Ceremony will take place on November 2, 1999 at Capitol Hill with Congressman John Porter as the Special Guest of Honor. Also being featured is the introduction of the Journal of Ethnomedicine and Drug Development.
