Bioresources Development and Conservation Programme (BDCP) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to ensuring the well-being of tropical ecosystems and their human inhabitants through practical, innovative mechanisms of sustainable development. BDCP serves as an intermediary institution forging equitable partnerships between tropical countries and often-inaccessible developmental agencies.

Position Title:

Director of Business Development for the International Office of Bioresources Development and Conservation Programme. The position will begin immediately and a minimum of 1-2 yr. commitment is preferred.

Scope and Responsibilities:

• To support the mission of BDCP
  
• To develop and launch a fundraising campaign during expansion of BDCP activities and staff positions.
  
• To identify and submit grant proposals to expand operations
  
• Maintain budget management responsibilities specifically relative to increases in financial base of BDCP through fundraising efforts
