Registration Information and Deadlines

  The Registration fee for the International Conference on Ethnomedicine and Drug Discovery is US$300. 

BDCP members are eligible for a reduced fee of US$225.


Student Reduced Fee Registration

A reduced registration fee of US$100 will be available for students.  Registrants wishing to take advantage of this fee, must submit an official conference registration form accompanied by proof of enrollment.   A photocopy of a current student identification or a letter from your department's administrative office will suffice.

Indigenous participants:   A reduced registration of $US100 will be available for indigenous participants.   Also these participants may qualify for Financial Assistance and Sponsorship

Available sponsorship is limited, so we urge you to register early.

Late Registration/Cancellation:

Registration is requested by October 15th, 1999. Any registration after this date will cost an additional US$50.

Cancellation: Refunds, less $30 handling fee, will be granted on written requests received by October 20th, 1999.  No refunds thereafter.

Important Notice

  • Registration is not complete without the accompanying adequate registration fees.

Media Policy:

Members of the media who wish to attend the Conference are welcome to do so. Interested individuals should submit a letter to the conference Secretariat, explaining his or her assignment .

 

 

Financial Assistance and Sponsorship:

A limited number of scholarships and financial assistance for participants  will be available through the Conference Secretariat. Those interested in applying for these assistance must submit a letter to the Secretariat. Letters should describe the applicant's work: explain why funds for Symposium registration are not available; and outline how Conference will enhance the applicant's work. Final selection of financial assistance and scholarship will be made by a committee composed of the organizers. All letters requesting financial assistance and scholarship must be received not later than August 31, 1999
